Travel by Public Transport

For longer distance journeys, public transport offers a cost-effective alternative to single occupancy car journeys

Especially when taking into account the actual cost of owning and running a car, including purchase price, fuel, tax, insurance, maintenance and parking, using public transport may save you money. A week/month pass also includes a heavy discount when compared with a standard single ride ticket. Why not consider becoming a one car family and using public transport more often?

Bus Services

Your nearest bus stop is on Thirsk Road and provides the Arriva 7 and 7A services.

The services run from Kirklevington to Stockton via Yarm Station, Yarm and Eaglescliffe.

Services run approximately every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and every hour on Sundays. Keep up to date with timetables and use the Arriva Website or download the Arriva App to track buses and buy tickets in advance.

Tees Flex

Using the Tees Flex app customers can hail a vehicle directly from their smartphone. The technology then directs passengers to a nearby ‘virtual bus stop’ (within a short walking distance), allowing for quick and efficient shared trips, taking customers where they like, when they like!
